IMCD is een nieuw bedrijf op de beurs, waar de beursnotering startte in juni 2014 (introductie op 21 euro, nu 32) maar het bedrijf bestaat al vele jaren.

Ah, juist. IMCD "vervangt" het oude Imtech in de midkap-index, het geplaagde bedrijf dat recentelijk failliet is gegaan en waarvan iedereen wel de historie kent.
Wat zou het effect hiervan zijn op het "jongere" IMCD? Ik denk persoonlijk dat de neergang van Imtech als anti-voorbeeld bij het IMCD-management werkt. "Mensen, kijk in godsnaam uit dat we niet diezelfde kant op gaan."
Een betere referentie is er haast niet om de cultuur van dit bedrijf de juiste richting op te sturen!
